Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Setup Technician to join our team at Silgan. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing assigned setup responsibilities in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements of the organization and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily routine tasks to ensure efficient production operations
  • Assist in maintaining molds in good working condition
  • Set up molding departments as required
  • Provide technical support to production and other internal customers
  • Assist with new machine and mold debugging
  • Perform maintenance and engineering tasks as required
  • Report vital information to proper personnel
  • Maintain a quality, clean, and safe working environment
Requirements

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
