Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at East Alabama Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with ACR, facility, and radiologist standards.
• Implement radiation protection and safety measures to safeguard patients, staff, and self.
• Provide exceptional customer service and adhere to facility core values.
• Complete ancillary tasks to maintain efficient departmental operations.
• Be available for on-call shifts, varying schedules, holidays, and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiography or hospital/military program where registry status can be obtained.
• Current BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT-R registration.
• Recent hospital experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred.
