Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Investigator to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating suspected instances of waste, fraud, and abuse; data breaches; and network penetrations of our customer's information systems.

Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, including data breaches and network penetrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and deliver malware security awareness products and briefings.
  • Provide computer incident and violation response support.
  • Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security and protection against malware and other vulnerabilities.

Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience (additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • Experience with analytical problem-solving and conducting security investigations and operations relating to suspected incidents.
  • Working knowledge of DoD intelligence regulations and familiar with intelligence oversight principles.
  • Experience publishing finished analysis.
  • Knowledge of DoD/Intelligence/law enforcement communities.
  • Must possess a level of knowledge and experience with information technology, information systems, and other technical disciplines, which is adequate to allow for successful completion of all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government issued TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Skills**

  • In-depth working knowledge in DoD intelligence regulations and familiar with intelligence oversight principles.
  • Superior writing and briefing skills and publish finished analysis.
