Disciplinary Hearing Officer

Metro Nashville Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as a Hearing Officer for Disciplinary Matters. This role will be responsible for conducting hearings and making recommendations on disciplinary actions for Metro Nashville Public Schools employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hearings to gather information and evidence related to disciplinary matters
- Review and analyze evidence to make informed recommendations on disciplinary actions
- Develop and implement plans to improve employee conduct and performance
- Collaborate with school administrators and HR staff to ensure effective implementation of disciplinary actions
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g. education, human resources, business)
- 5+ years of experience in a related field (e.g. education, human resources, business)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions
This role will be based in Nashville, TN and will require regular attendance at hearings and meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Metro Nashville Public Schools policies and procedures.
