We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Market Float Pool Acute Care team at St. David's HealthCare, one of the largest healthcare systems in Texas and the third-largest employer in the Austin area.

Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $83,000-$125,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career advancement.
Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse in our Market Float Pool Acute Care team, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing plans of care, and implementing and evaluating care. You will also direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on your team.
You will perform and document patient assessments at admission, create and revise plans of care, administer medications and complete treatments, provide educational materials to patients and families, and notify the Charge Nurse and/or physician of changes in patient status.
Requirements- 2 years of nursing experience in two areas of hospital nursing patient care
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited Nursing program
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 60 days of hire
