Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and revise comprehensive care plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based treatments
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy and protocols
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff members as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $123,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development, including tuition reimbursement, student loan forgiveness, and mentorship programs.
