We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power and Analog Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Sensor Power and Analog Design (SPAD) Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power and analog systems for our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop power conversion and analog circuitry for our products
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system-level designs
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve production issues and improve existing product designs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution
- Engage in personal technical growth and facilitate technical growth in peers and junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in power system design, power conversion, power distribution, and/or control systems
- Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in hardware development in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a technical team
- Experience generating technical documentation and reports
- Knowledge of test and production methods for electronics/power system components
