Job Summary

Talis Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial processes and reports while collaborating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage and maintain accurate AR records, reconcile AR accounts, and resolve any discrepancies. Analyze and report on AR aging and collections.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage and maintain accurate AP records, ensuring timely payment. Process and record vendor invoices, payments, and credits. Analyze and report on AP aging and vendor performance.
  • General Ledger and Bank Account Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of general ledger and bank accounts.
  • Inventory Control: Support inventory control efforts, ensuring accurate tracking and management of inventory levels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Plant Manager on-site and report to the offsite Finance Director.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting experience is required.
  • Skills: Understand and follow GAAP, proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics/Navision), and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Advanced features in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, are also required.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
