Our extensive array of more than 180 programs, located in over 100 sites, aims to enhance the lives of a diverse range of New Yorkers. From preventing homelessness in Staten Island to providing supportive housing in the Bronx; from employment training in Manhattan to after-school initiatives and college access in Brooklyn; from family shelter and support in Queens to expanding affordable housing throughout the city, CAMBA delivers comprehensive services designed to help struggling New Yorkers stabilize their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.
Program Focus: The Learning to Work (LTW) for Transfer Schools initiative offers essential services to students aged 15-21 who are over-aged for their grade, under-credited, and have spent at least one year in another high school. - Enhance self-direction and self-sufficiency through meaningful career exploration experiences, including subsidized internship placements for 75 students.
Role Responsibilities:
The individual in this role will act as the primary motivator and coordinator of program services for young adult students, assisting those considered 'at-risk' in removing obstacles to education and employment.

- Associate's degree in social work or a related field, with relevant experience; a Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must obtain and maintain Department of Education fingerprint clearance throughout employment.
- Ability to adapt to the culture and environment of a public school.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Mandarin is preferred.
Compensation: $42,000 annually

Employment Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Benefits: CAMBA provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays.
