Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Eligible to work in the United States
