Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse for a travel nursing job in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children and adolescents
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the pediatrician and family
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest pediatric intensive care unit practices and technologies
Requirements
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting
  • Active RN License
  • PALS & NRP Certifications
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
