The institution offers a comprehensive range of services for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders. This encompasses inpatient care, partial day programs, and intensive outpatient services. Assessment services are available around the clock, every day of the week. Position Details:
Support the organization’s philosophy of care, program, and unit objectives.
Coordinate and provide quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients.
Ensure adherence to medical orders, initiating and following treatment plans.
Act as a patient advocate at all times.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current unencumbered nursing license issued by the State Board of Nursing
  • CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient interaction

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, particularly with direct involvement in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patient care is preferred.

Experience in patient assessments, family engagement, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or similar entities is also advantageous.
