Air Squared Manufacturing Inc is seeking a skilled Purchasing Supervisor to lead the Purchasing Department and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and purchasing, with experience in managing supplier relationships and identifying cost savings opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing department
  • Perform Buyer functions, including negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and implement process improvements
  • Train Purchasing team in purchasing skills, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and ensure compliance with Purchasing policies, procedures, and work instructions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred) or Associate's degree or minimum of 6-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (preferred) or Association for Supply Chain Management CSCP
  • Expert in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop – preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers
  • Negotiation and intermediate contracting skills
  • Strong PC and MS Office suite skills with advanced working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Power BI
