Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated IT Testing Specialist to become a part of our Quality Assurance team. This role is fully remote and requires a US Citizen who can successfully pass a public trust investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test cases for applications developed in C, C#, .Net, Java, and Angular, ensuring adherence to all technical specifications.
  • Execute database testing with MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, including the creation and execution of PL/SQL and SQL scripts.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing utilizing frameworks such as Junit, nUnit, Jest, Jasmine, and Karma.
  • Employ 508 Testing Tools, including ANDI and Deque Axe, to verify software accessibility compliance.
  • Carry out load and performance testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner to simulate user traffic and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement functional testing with Selenium and create automated test scripts using Test Café.
  • Engage with AWS technologies to test applications hosted in cloud environments.
  • Utilize Insomnia and other RESTful testing tools to validate API integrations and services.
  • Accurately document all test results and manage the documentation of software defects while monitoring the bug resolution process.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to improve the quality of the final product through ongoing testing and feedback.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:

Note: Candidates lacking the mandatory skills will not be considered.

  • US Citizenship and the ability to pass a public trust investigation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS.
  • Strong experience in database testing and scripting with MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Extensive knowledge of unit testing and UAT best practices, with practical experience in Junit, nUnit, Jest, Jasmine, and Karma.
  • Experience in accessibility testing using 508 compliance tools like ANDI and Deque Axe.
  • Proficient in performance testing with JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Experienced in automated functional testing with Selenium and Test Café.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and their application in testing environments.
  • Skilled in using Insomnia or similar tools for RESTful API testing.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
