Petroleum Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Laboratory Specialist to join our team at the Army National Guard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, purity, and durability of all fuels used in Army operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise or conduct laboratory tests on petroleum, oil, and lubricant products
- Obtain or receive petroleum product samples and conduct laboratory tests for contaminants, strength, and toxic qualities
- Evaluate test results against specification requirements and make recommendations regarding product disposition
- Follow fire prevention and safety control procedures and keep detailed laboratory records and files
- Test on clothing, food, paints, and plastics
Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
