As a key member of the healthcare team, this Registered Nurse position plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the Medical Center. Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Teamwork: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care. Demonstrate expertise in leadership, delegation, and accountability, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Nursing Process and Clinical Outcomes: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, utilizing computer systems effectively to optimize patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
- Patient Safety and Quality: Prioritize patient safety, adhering to standards and protocols to prevent errors and adverse events. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Education and Professional Development: Stay current with best practices, policies, and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical expertise and leadership skills.
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- 1 year of recent experience in a nursing leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
