Addison Group is in search of a Senior Manager of Lease Operations and Accounts Receivable. This role will lead a team of 8 professionals in Lease Operations and Accounts Receivable. The Senior Manager will provide strategic oversight for both departments, ensuring the establishment of consistent processes and the development of tools that enhance information sharing across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Lease Operations Administrators and Accounts Receivable staff.
- Demonstrate a history of driving change and efficiency through the use of performance metrics.
- Oversee team performance, career growth, and deliverables, fostering a motivating environment for effective communication.
- Review outputs to ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain processes and procedures that promote accountability and consistency within the department.
- Act as the primary liaison between Lease Operations, Accounts Receivable, and other departments.
- Communicate significant issues and ongoing performance metrics to all departments.
- Ensure the team meets all required benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Manage collections and oversee the overall process.
- Provide continuous training and mentorship to help employees achieve their individual and departmental objectives.
- Document and share best practices while contributing to the enhancement of internal controls and data quality.
- Review and approve annual reconciliations prior to submission.
- Oversee tenant audits and review lease abstract information for billing and reporting.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Lease Operations, with advanced knowledge of Real Estate Accounting or Property Management, including at least 5 years in Lease Operations or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience, working strategically with both internal and external teams is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, along with leadership capabilities and a commitment to professional growth.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior staff while effectively managing underperformance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level team members.
