Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Selby Jennings. As a key member of our Agile SDLC team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated test frameworks, integrating them with our current build and deployment processes, and ensuring the maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for Java microservices and REST APIs
  • Integrate automated test suites with our current build and deployment processes
  • Maintain automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture
  • Integrate automation framework with existing tools (GIT)
  • Create, manage, and utilize defect workflows with automated test execution
  • Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution
  • Build and implement performance test suites
  • Perform all types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in QA engineering delivery
  • 3+ years of delivery experience within Agile SDLC/teams, ideally with CICD
  • Experience with testing Java microservices and REST APIs
  • Exposure to banking and/or private markets environments preferred
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Java, JavaScript, React, Python, IntelliJ/Eclipse
  • Experience with CICD tools like Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Junit, WebdriverIO, Protractor, JMeter or similar
