Telecommunications Tower Professional

Betacom is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Tower Professional to join our team. In this role, you will lead and assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communications towers and support structures, working with telecommunications equipment and climbing towers to ensure crew members comply with safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking necessary precautions.
- Verify the condition of tools and rigging gear, perform daily job safety analysis (JSA), and maintain a clean, orderly environment adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Lead a 4-man tower crew safely and within established budgetary requirements, completing jobs fully and meeting quality standards, troubleshoot GPS antennas and tower lighting systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, 3-4 years industry experience, excellent communication skills, and computer proficiency, ComTrain, OSHA10, RF Awareness Training.
- A clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation to and from work, ability to lift over 70 pounds, working knowledge of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency with custom tower rigging techniques, Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping, and antenna equipment, experience stacking self-support towers, installing waveguide, antennas, and microwave dishes.
