Job Overview

Thoroughbred Express Auto Wash is a leading provider of high-quality car wash services, operating conveyorized, tunnel-based express car wash facilities in Southern Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Madison, IN location. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our car wash facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers with a warm smile, reviewing and educating them on our services, and assisting with payment.
  • Facility Operations: Carry out daily duties to ensure the effective operation of the car wash facility, working in partnership with peers and site management.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform periodic maintenance of equipment used in washing to keep them in proper working order.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized facility, ensuring everything is in its proper place.
  • Additional Duties: Assist customers with any concerns regarding the car wash process, carry out visual inspections of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Courteous and Professional Attitude: Display a courteous, customer service-focused, and professional attitude at all times.
  • Physical Demands: Work while standing for long periods (6+ hours), lift items of moderate weight (10+ pounds), and maintain work expectations outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Interact ethically with fellow employees and customers, possessing excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid and current driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Car Wash Experience: Previous experience in the car wash industry is preferred but not required.
