Industrial Maintenance Manager

ATS is a leading company in industrial maintenance, with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our factories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Safety
    • Develop and implement a safety program to ensure employee safety and wellness.
    • Implement and support all Beyond Zero initiatives.
    • Foster a safety culture by sharing best practices and promoting a partnership with customers.
  • Strategic Planning and Communication
    • Communicate a clear vision to motivate employees and align them with site-level and company-wide objectives.
    • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives through effective team communications and action planning.
    • Understand and articulate ATS and customer strategies to provide the team with a clear line of sight.
  • Culture and Employee Development
    • Build positive relationships with employees, customers, and peers through open communication and role-modeling ATS leadership core competencies.
    • Set a positive standard for others and create a constructive climate for the team.
    • Influence with transparency and use participative methods to ensure decisions are understood and accepted.
    • Establish a positive work environment through onboarding, one-on-one communications, and recognizing individual contributions.
  • Business Results and Continuous Improvement
    • Lead and ensure the Operating System is understood, reinforced, and embedded.
    • Develop and execute a site-specific maintenance plan per ATS standards.
    • Manage financial performance to achieve set objectives.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with ATS business units and customers.
Requirements
  • Essential KSAs:
    • Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or a related field preferred or seven years of operations/maintenance experience.
    • Three years of supervisory experience with a strong focus on employee development.
    • Resilient and flexible, able to multitask and prioritize with an innate ability to understand and accept change.
    • Highly tuned emotional intelligence with demonstrated ability to build relationships and lead teams with honesty and integrity.
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing/assembly work environment.
    • Business acumen.
    • Positive influencer with appropriate levels of organization.
    • Strong customer focus with the ability to build positive business relationships.
  • Desirable KSAs:
    • Manufacturing maintenance experience preferred with related certifications and training.
    • Good understanding of, and/or experience with, proactive/reliability maintenance processes.
    • Good computer skills, including Microsoft applications and web-based applications.
    • Time management skills.
    • Ability to relocate to specified locations.
    • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
    • Agile, curious learner and authentic, credible teacher.
    • Financial acumen and knowledge of forecasting and managing budgets.
