As a key member of our Social Services department, you will play a critical role in determining the eligibility of applicants and recipients for various government assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and verify client eligibility for government programs, including financial, medical, and food assistance.
  • Perform routine to moderately complex case management services, including interviewing clients, gathering information, and processing applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations related to assigned department programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective case management.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or a related field.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
