Job Overview

Hubbell is seeking an experienced Equipment Enclosure Assembly Technician to join our Integrated Substation Solutions team. Key Responsibilities
  • Construct equipment enclosures and install building components
  • Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials
  • Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements
  • Adhere to all company rules and policies
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Ensure work practices are in line with OSHA standards
  • Ensure machines are running properly to avoid unnecessary downtime
  • Finish units to the production specification sheet
  • Perform Total Preventive Maintenance duties
Requirements
  • Construction background preferred
  • Solid understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices
  • Ability to set up finishing machines and understand machine settings and functions
  • Ability to operate a hoist properly and safely
  • Ability to stand for extensive periods of time
