Job Overview

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an experienced Equipment Enclosure Assembly Technician to join our Integrated Substation Solutions team. As a leading global manufacturer of high-quality electrical and utility solutions, we enable the transition to a more reliable, resilient, and efficient energy infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing equipment enclosures and installing building components, ensuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality. This role requires a solid understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices, as well as the ability to set up finishing machines and operate a hoist properly and safely.

A Day In The Life
  • Performing pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Following all safety rules and ISO requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhering to all company rules and policies, including those related to OSHA standards and Total Preventive Maintenance duties.
  • Ensuring that work practices are in line with company guidelines and industry standards.
  • Finishing units to the production specification sheet and ensuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality.

  • A construction background and experience with electrical enclosures.
  • A solid understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
  • The ability to set up finishing machines and an understanding of machine settings and functions.
  • The ability to operate a hoist properly and safely.
  • The ability to stand for extensive periods of time.
