Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate cases as it relates to unit scope of care.
  • Understand principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care.
  • Exercise sound judgement and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers.
  • Pursue own professional growth through continuing education and in-services.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, peers, director, external and internal customers.
  • Organize work to complete duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Serve as a professional member of the OR team.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse
  • Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Full-time Operating Room position
  • Must have at least 1 year of OR experience.
