Construction Technicians

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking highly skilled Construction Laborers to join our team at E2 Optics in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a Data Center Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing cabling and infrastructure that runs the hardware inside the data center.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in low voltage installation, data center infrastructure, and OSHA 10 certification. They must also be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Install cabling and infrastructure that runs the hardware inside the data center\
• Pull cables from point A to point B\
• Label each cable to identify its purpose and destination\
• Bundling cables together in neat bundles and securing them with Velcro\
• Combining cables to ensure they are neatly arranged and directed\
• Testing and certifying cables to ensure they are functioning correctly\
• Installing racks and infrastructure that hold equipment\
• Installing ladder racks, cable troughs, and fiber trays\
• Assisting in the maintenance of a safe work environment\
• Working closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks\
• Participating in quality control measures to guarantee excellent results\
• Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic\
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors\
• Avoiding unnecessary overtime by prioritizing tasks efficiently\
• Meeting deadlines and ensuring job completion within allocated timeframes\
• Performing other related duties as assigned\
• Collaborating with team members to meet project goals and objectives\
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes and procedures\
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety protocols
