About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Survey Team Leader to join our team at Snyder & Associates in Omaha/Council Bluffs. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading survey teams, ensuring project success, and providing high-quality results. This role involves performing as a surveyor or survey technician in various aspects of surveying, including ALTA surveys, construction staking, boundary & retracement surveys, aerial control, LiDAR verifications, topographic survey & utility mapping, As-Builts, buildings & structures, acquisition plats, easements, expert witness, micrositing, control networks, flood mapping & cross sections, preliminary D.O.T. surveys, and utility survey and staking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead survey teams to ensure project success and provide high-quality results.
• Technical Expertise: Perform as a surveyor or survey technician in various aspects of surveying, utilizing advanced technology and equipment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
• Mentorship: Mentor and develop survey crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in land surveying in North America.
• Credentials: Possess demonstrated abilities functioning in two- and one-person survey crews.
• Skillset: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in industry software and technology.

• Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
