Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. in Old Hickory, TN. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for welding pipe outlets in accordance with our company's WPS requirements for Fire Protection Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify accuracy of paperwork and materials, and prepare necessary materials for fabrication
  • Operate MIG and robotic/automated welding equipment as outlined in the Operator's Training Manual
  • Determine required equipment and welding methods and techniques for each order
  • Analyze weld sheets, blueprints, and assembly drawings to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
  • Position and secure parts and assemblies per specifications
  • Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe
  • Assist other fabricators and welders as needed
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs
  • Meet company standards for production work volume
  • Maintain a safe workplace by performing tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner, adhering to all rules, procedures, and instructions
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of welding experience
