Overview:

The Robotic Technician will be responsible for providing engineering technical support for all robotic equipment and manage support personnel. This position will also mentor and train all technical personnel associated with robotic equipment.

Responsibilities:

Create robotic weld programs for all product lines and maintain programming files.
Develop training instructions for robotic weld cell operation.
Develop training and test material for robotic welders and maintain records.
Develop preventive maintenance programs for all robotic equipment.
Create an effective preventive maintenance program for robotic weld cells and train qualified personnel to perform these duties.
Coordinate robotic cell improvement projects including production, engineering, quality and maintenance personnel.
Initiate cost improvement project and lead kaizen projects for robotic cell cost reductions.
Responsible for safety standards on any changes to existing equipment.
Manage integration projects for robotic weld cells and robotic material handling.

Education/ Experience:


Minimum 2 years of Robotics Experience preferred.

Welding Experience Required.
Must have good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Professional verbal and written communication skills essential.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Employee must have ability to read, write and comprehend information, instructions, and memos. Must have ability to effectively present information to management, hourly employees, and customers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time, stand and use hands to grasp, handle or feel. Employee may on occasion be required to speak, hear, bend, stood, kneel, crouch, and walk on wet surfaces. The employee must frequently lift, move, and/or drag/push more than 40 pounds. Employee may also be requested to extended shift, work overtime, and /or weekends. Employee will work with solvents, oils and grease daily (gloves are required to protect hands and fingers) Employee must be willing and able to abide by all safety policies.

ENVIROMENT:

Duties are performed primarily at a manufacturing setting and may expose employee to loud noise levels, extreme temperatures, chemical and fumes, and moving mechanical parts. Work is completed in a non-climate-controlled plant environment and employee will have frequent interaction with managers and other employees. Standard hazards within a manufacturing plant where safety precautions and personal protective equipment must be maintained all the time.

Pay Range:
USD $19.12 - USD $19.12 /Hr.
