Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in Radiology at Advocate Health, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and exceptional patient experience. Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making, you will lead efforts to deliver patient-centered care across the continuum. Your expertise will ensure the successful transition of patients to other healthcare delivery systems or their home communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current IL RN license.
  • BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
  • Current AHA CPR certification.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing needs.
  • Ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster.
