Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely replenishment of supply closets and ordering of supplies for clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular PAR counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Identify and implement PAR efficiencies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Process and document supply requests and communicate with Inventory Control/Management.
  • Replenish crash carts and other specialty carts maintained by supply chain.
  • Inspect and process carts appropriately.
  • Prioritize carts and communicate any issues to the team.
  • Follow departmental processes for issuing and delivering equipment.
  • Monitor equipment PARs and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Properly mark and process equipment for repair.
  • Check in and put away inventory.
  • Accurately document credits items back into inventory.
  • Utilize system resources to locate products on PARs.
  • Identify Out Of Stocks (OOS) items and notify Inventory Control/Management.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college courses.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or inventory management.
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
