Job Description

Position Overview: This role is essential for the thorough cleaning and sanitization of egg processing machinery, ensuring adherence to all organizational policies and regulatory standards.

This position will also support the Sanitation Lead with various tasks and projects as required. The work schedule will be during the night, typically from 6 PM to 4 AM, with potential variations in hours.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, clean, and sanitize all food processing equipment.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques, including high-pressure hoses, chemicals, foamers, and scrubbers, to achieve comprehensive cleanliness.
  • Handle chemicals responsibly, adhering to usage labels and employing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain cleanliness of overhead areas, floors, and other surfaces within the facility using suitable cleaning methods.
  • Sanitize all product pipes.
  • Conduct self-assessments post-cleaning to verify cleanliness standards.
  • Comply with all company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be agile and capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to execute all responsibilities associated with the position, including reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting overhead.
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
