  • Employ design software such as AutoCAD and Visio to produce intricate AV system schematics, including layout plans and wiring diagrams.
  • Adapt architectural blueprints to effectively integrate audiovisual solutions.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into practical system designs.
  • Develop equipment lists for cost estimation based on client specifications and draft preliminary budget outlines.
  • Offer technical support to project managers and team members regarding AV system designs.
  • Facilitate design evaluations and provide expert recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Remain informed about industry standards and best practices in AV system design and integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audiovisual system design utilizing AutoCAD and Visio.
  • Proficient in generating detailed design documents, equipment inventories, and wiring schematics.
  • In-depth knowledge of audiovisual equipment, technologies, and integration techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AV technologies such as Polycom, Cisco, Clearone, Biamp, and QSC Pro Audio.
  • Familiarity with Crestron control systems and programming.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and technical teams.
  • Prior experience in supporting AV system installations.
