Position Overview:

Delivers direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and policies of the healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent education for licensing.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of registered nursing experience (Ministry Float) or two years (Regional Float).

Physical Demands:

  • Regular use of speech for communication.
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
  • Frequent visual and auditory tasks for patient monitoring.
  • Occasional lifting of patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional driving and other physical activities.
