Job Title: PeopleSoft Administrator

Peraton is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team supporting an Intelligence Community customer. This role involves ensuring system high availability, rapid troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high system availability and perform daily system monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and application performance issues promptly.
  • Handle system issues through a ticketing system and report to the customer site during off-hours if needed.
  • Deploy software patches monthly, adhering to security guidelines.
  • Work closely with government customers, Project Lead, ISSO, Application Vendor, and End Users.
  • Understand system hardening and security through STIG and patching.
  • Create and update documentation, simplifying complex configurations for clarity.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database environments on Linux servers.
  • Ability to communicate complex system configurations clearly in documentation.
  • Experience in creating/revising SOPs, STPs, SIPs, SAGs, SUMs, and ICDs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an area applicable to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Active DOD TS/SCI security clearance OR active TS with SCI eligibility with active polygraph OR the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to start.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, PeopleSoft HCM Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 and higher, with a three-tier architecture application
  • Experience as a PeopleSoft administrator in complex, integrated, and customized environments.
  • Experience with the following is required:
  • PeopleSoft systems running on Linux/Windows servers and Oracle databases.
  • Performance tuning SQL
  • WebLogic
  • Tuxedo
  • Change Assistant
  • Application Designer and Data Mover
  • Managing PeopleSoft in a load-balanced environment
  • Managing SSL certificates in the PeopleSoft environment
  • PeopleSoft Integration Broker
  • OpenSSL
  • Maintaining all database environments including Development, Test and Production.
  • Maintaining a variety of mission unique databases, including applying security patches and contractor / vendor updates.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Effectively communicating technical concepts and solutions to both technical experts, non-technical business stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Demonstrated experience working independently to prioritize and manage multiple requests
  • Experience meeting response times in accordance with service level agreements for high-priority requests
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance including security patching and emergency responses for database management systems and platforms in the production environment.
