Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Brookdale Senior Living. As a Medication Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers and observe/report responses to supervisors.
- Organize and maintain the medication supply room, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery and ensure timely receipt of medications.
Requirements
- Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
- Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
