Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, including those with complex medical needs.
• Work effectively in a team environment, including collaborating with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest news and developments in healthcare and pharmacy, including new medications, treatments, and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Good math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems.
