We are currently looking for a Class A Millwright to join our team. This role involves the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, and detailed instructions within industrial settings. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Foreman, with tasks assigned based on established procedures and regular oversight.


Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience based on mechanic level
  • NCCER certification may be required at certain job sites
  • Successful completion of a written pre-employment qualification test
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical assessment
  • Compliance with job site safety protocols as mandated by clients
  • Required safety gear as specified by clients
  • Must not pose a direct threat to workplace health or safety

Job Responsibilities:

The Millwright will:

  • Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to establish work procedures
  • Dismantle machinery and relocate equipment as necessary
  • Assemble and install various types of equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and turbines
  • Align machinery using reverse alignment techniques
  • Secure machines to foundations or other structures through bolting, welding, or riveting
  • Operate engine lathes for grinding and shaping machine parts
  • Perform repairs and lubrication on machinery
  • Engage in grouting activities for equipment base plates
  • Disassemble, repair, and reinstall plant equipment as required

Compensation:

Compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
