Job Summary:The Physician Assistant will provide medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community-based programs. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provide medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of a training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- English language proficiency.
This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Physician Assistant will be required to work in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community-based programs.
