Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at LifeBridge Health, a leading healthcare provider in Maryland. As a critical member of the healthcare team, the RN is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current clinical practices, policies, and procedures to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Services or other acute care settings.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within 6-12 months of hire.
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
