About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Elliott-Lewis Corporation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing general building maintenance, handy work, and small repairs of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including general building maintenance, handy work, and small repairs
  • Assess building support functions, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Work under general supervision to maintain professional competence and ethical integrity
  • Read and comprehend complicated materials and instructions, and communicate verbally and in writing
Requirements
  • High school level or general education degree (GED)
  • Aptitude for assessing building support functions
  • Ability to work under general supervision
  • Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class "A" Engineers license (Philadelphia)
  • CFC Certification (desired but not mandatory)
  • Driver's License in good order
Physical Requirements
  • Consistently Required: Walking, standing, bending, or twisting
  • Frequently Required: Bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling
  • Occasionally Required: Working with arms raised over head, max carries 75lbs, push/pull 40-75lbs, exposure to hot and cold temperatures
