Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, focusing on promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Perform basic patient care functions, including phlebotomy, simple treatments, and dressing changes, as required.
  • Contribute to the plan of care or treatment based on assigned tasks and patient/family input, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounding, answering telephone and call lights promptly and professionally.
  • Transport unit supplies, patient care supplies, medications, and equipment as assigned.
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills with patients, staff, physicians, family, and visitors.
Requirements
  • High School rising Senior in good standing or equivalent.
  • Graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program preferred.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, specifically ability to document.
