Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Associate to join our team at Cents Only Stores LLC. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a great shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, helping customers locate merchandise, and assisting with check-out processes.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, stocking and displaying merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Process and return to stock all go-backs, carefully and correctly repack merchandise for transfer to the Distribution Center, and break down cardboard boxes for recycling.
  • Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and report any illegal activity to Store Management.
  • Follow all Company safety procedures and work independently with minimal direction to complete daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior retail or grocery experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Positive attitude and ability to interact effectively with customers and associates.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, both verbal and written, and multi-task to meet shift goals and expectations.
  • Physical ability to regularly lift one to five pounds, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
