**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Middlesex Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 24-bed ICU/Intermediate care unit.

**Responsibilities**

* Assess health needs of patients and provide nursing care in a safe, caring manner
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care
* Participate in professional development opportunities and shared governance
* Work in a great team environment with a focus on patient-first care

**Requirements**

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
* Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner
* One year of acute care nursing experience (step down or ICU preferred)
* Telemetry experience
* BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in a BSN program
* Certification in PCCN or CCRN encouraged
* Epic experience
* ACLS (will be required upon completion of orientation)
