At TASKids, we prioritize the clinical advancement of our behavior technicians and supervisors. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts/Licensed Behavior Analysts offer monthly training sessions and continuous supervision to ensure ethical and effective treatment strategies for the children and families we support. Job Requirements:
· Experience in autism and special needs, education, mental health, or ABA is essential. RBT Certification is required.
· A minimum of a BA/BS degree with 6 months to 1 year of experience in ABA is preferred. Degrees in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, school psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related fields are ideal.
· Availability primarily after 2 PM on multiple days per week; commitment to a consistent schedule; willingness to commit to a year of employment.
· Strong clinical insight and critical thinking abilities are necessary.
· Bilingual therapists are highly desired.
· Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and driver's insurance are required.
Job Responsibilities:
· Exhibit enthusiasm, energy, and motivation for the children and families we serve.
· Deliver skills training services and/or behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
· Part-time position (up to 25 hours per week based on the Technician's and client's availability); availability after 2 PM on multiple days per week is essential; reliability is crucial.
· Travel to clients' homes within an hour of the Richmond area.
· Maintain precise records of sessions, including session notes and data collection.
· Provide feedback to parents/caregivers under the guidance of the BCBA/LBA.
· Collaborate with fellow technicians and clinical staff within the agency, as well as with schools and other therapies the clients receive.
· Function as a technician implementing treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA/LBA, seeking additional support and supervision from the clinical team as necessary.
· Engage in ongoing training and supervision.
Benefits:
· Competitive compensation ranging from $16 to $23 per hour, depending on education (MA/MS with doctorate in progress or completed) and experience (i.e., ABA); ability to work independently.
