Job Description

At Anova, we're seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for users seeking technical support. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and effective technical assistance to users, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Identify and manage local IT maintenance and services to ensure the company's technology infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Onboard new employees, ensuring they are fully set up with necessary company applications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware, and problem troubleshooting.
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Keep records of problems and their resolution.
  • Follow up with customers.
  • Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented and patient.
  • Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration experience is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
