Healthcare Provider

As a skilled healthcare provider at Kaiser Permanente, you will deliver high-quality medical care to our members in a cost-effective manner, adhering to professional practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with common acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, including performing histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and prescribing medications.
Provide health maintenance services, including patient education, for well members, and refer patients for specialty consultation or difficult problems.
Document all care in patients' permanent medical records in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and develop departmental services or programs.
Requirements:
Graduate of an ANA-approved NP or AMA-approved PA training program, or equivalent requirements to meet state licensure.
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (Washington) or Physician Assistant License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire, and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Working knowledge of common diseases in the specialty field, state healthcare laws, and controlled substance regulations.
Ability to assess, diagnose, and effectively treat common medical diseases and injuries, and to use appropriate procedural/testing equipment.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of clinical experience.
Ability to float to multiple medical offices and work effectively in a team environment.
Compact License acceptable in lieu of a Washington RN license.
