Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide virtual behavioral health services to patients facing challenges associated with substance use disorder. This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration with the care team to help each patient achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments for new patients
  • Manage treatment of patient psychiatric, psychosocial, physical health-related, and behavioral health needs
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patients
  • Coordinate with external behavioral health treatment facilities as needed
Requirements
  • Fully licensed LCSW in North Carolina
  • Residency in NC and willingness to commute to the Hickory clinic 1-2 days per week
  • Additional licensing as LCSW in Texas, Louisiana, or Ohio preferred
  • Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work, family therapy, or related field
  • Working knowledge of evidence-based treatments for behavioral health conditions
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and active listening abilities
