POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a meticulous Laboratory Technician II to join our production team. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, maintaining quality benchmarks, addressing production challenges, and fostering teamwork while effectively contributing to product development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute daily tasks associated with the production of cannabis-derived products.
  • Uphold safety protocols and collaborate with management on any safety-related concerns.
  • Engage in cannabis extraction and refinement processes.
  • Operate advanced extraction and refinement machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues, escalating to management and maintenance as necessary.
  • Manage inventory transfers between departments.
  • Complete and verify daily laboratory documentation, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Oversee physical inventory counts of cannabis products and data.
  • Dispose of cannabis waste in compliance with legal standards.
  • Provide training and support for new and existing laboratory personnel as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid government-issued photo identification.
  • Understanding of quality control processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain awareness of ongoing processes.
  • Team-oriented mindset with collaborative skills.

Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or the cannabis sector.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent operation of computers and manufacturing equipment.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, pouring, and typing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
