POSITION SUMMARY:

A Client Relationship Specialist is tasked with fostering and sustaining connections with our esteemed clients by addressing their insurance protection requirements.

Client Relationship Specialists serve as the primary liaison for their accounts, comprehending their needs and collaborating with the internal team to provide outstanding service.

As part of a remarkable, resourceful, and cooperative High-Performance Team (HPT) at First MainStreet Insurance, the Client Relationship Specialist plays a vital role.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Relationship Specialists cultivate and maintain robust relationships with assigned accounts post-sale, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact regarding their insurance policies. They regularly engage with accounts to proactively address concerns, gather feedback, and identify avenues for account expansion. Client Relationship Specialists manage assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with all deadlines, and relay information from clients to minimize exposures. They seek opportunities to enhance accounts, ensuring comprehensive risk mitigation through insurance coverages. Monitoring account satisfaction levels and implementing proactive measures to uphold high retention rates is crucial. They may market new or renewal business, either independently or in collaboration with a Risk Advisor. Additionally, they manage all account-related tasks within our agency management system (EPIC) to guarantee data accuracy. Client Relationship Specialists are encouraged to seek and develop knowledge of insurance industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. They are expected to utilize provided tools efficiently to manage their assigned book of business and maintain confidentiality regarding client and carrier information. Other duties may be assigned as appropriate to the position.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Proven experience in account management, customer relationship management, or sales is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applications is required to maximize efficiency in a paper-free environment. Candidates should expect to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe. Familiarity with service management software and tools like EPIC is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational and time management skills are required to prioritize and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and documentation is important, along with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret insurance-related data.
